The smallest of our Microfill Super-Therm insulation sleeping bags. FINMARK, in the new size XL Wide, for those who value comfort and space. To meet the users’ questions, we decided to create a model with an extended shoulder profile. So now the width measured at the widest point is 100 cm.
The ANTI-BITE system, which we use in our sleeping bags, is a specially designed 3 cm, stiffened tape that facilitates fastening the zipper.
10 washes test – wanting to check additional parameters of our sleeping bags, such as the strength of the filling (clumping, movement), resistance to washing, thermal stability in a given period of time, we decided to carry out the so-called 10 washes test (with spinning of course). The test results of the MICROFILL Super-Therm nonwoven fabric exceeded our expectations. It turned out that the sleeping bag retained its thermal parameters, and the nonwoven fabric did not change its thickness and elasticity.
Remember to store the sleeping bag unfolded or in a storage bag, never hidden in a compression bag. Thanks to proper storage, it will be just as warm all the time.
Features:
- MICROfill Super-Therm filling – very warm, light and soft insulation.
- The inner material is pleasant to the touch, made of water vapor permeable fibers, which allows you to maintain an appropriate microclimate inside the sleeping bag.
- A profiled, adjustable hood that protects the head against heat loss, which can be adjusted with one hand.
- Two-speed high quality zipper.
- Fluorescent zip fastener.
- ANTI-BITE – material protection system against cutting into the lock.
- The ergonomic shape of the mummy eliminates unnecessary space for heating.
- Two sleeping bags can be joined with zippers.
- Inside there is a pocket for valuables (20 x 20 cm) with a note for the owner’s details.
- Compression bag with snap buckle.
Temperature range:
Note: the term T lim – means the lowest temperature at which a “standard man” can sleep comfortably. Women or people who freeze easily should use the T comfort thermal parameter when choosing a sleeping bag.
Temperature ranges according to EN 13537 standard – they refer to standard male and standard female after moderate effort.
ATTENTION! Occasionally the feeling of cold may be different for different people. The way you feel cold is also influenced by factors such as: fatigue, hunger, malaise, earlier hypothermia, age, metabolism, thickness of adipose tissue, etc.
- Upper comfort limit (T max) – the temperature at which the “standard man” does not sweat and excessive temperature does not disturb his sleep.
- Comfort (T comf) – the temperature at which a person is in thermal equilibrium and does not feel cold. This value applies to the “standard” full woman after moderate effort. Women should be guided by this parameter when choosing a sleeping bag.
- Limit temperature (T lim) – the lowest temperature at which the “standard man” can sleep comfortably. Men should be guided by this parameter when choosing a sleeping bag.
- Extreme temperature (T min) – exceeding this value causes the risk of hypothermia and means conditions in which it is possible to survive up to six hours (parameter based on the feelings of an “average woman”). This temperature should not be taken into account when buying a sleeping bag.
