Compact meaning small when folded, lightweight and warm. SVALBARD is a new range of down sleeping bags by FJORD NANSEN. SVALBARD 340 DUCK HYDRO XL RIGHT has been filled with hydrophobic European duck down so it stands up to moisture much better. You can cover yourself with it in a hammock, cover yourself on a warm night in a tent, or use it in the winter in a shelter. However, if you prefer to sleep in a zipped up sleeping bag, but are worried about being too warm, a great solution is a a drawstring that opens access to the legs completely. This is one of the more practical features you can add to a lightweight sleeping bag. This way, without leaving the sleeping bag, you can move around the camp or room, or if you like, just put your foot outside the sleeping bag. Most importantly, if you plan to use Svalbard as reheater during harpy wyryp you can easily jump into your sleeping bag and get warm while you nap, without taking off your shoes.

Temperatures:
- Temperature ranges according to EN 13537 - they refer to a standard man and a standard woman after an average effort. NOTE! Sometimes the sensation of cold can be different in different people. Factors such as fatigue, hunger, malaise, previous hypothermia, age, metabolism, body fat thickness, etc. also affect the way the cold is felt.
- Comfort (T comf) - the temperature at which a person is in thermal equilibrium and does not feel cold. This value refers to a "standard", full woman, after an average effort. This parameter should guide women when choosing a sleeping bag.
- Limit temperature (T lim) - the lowest temperature at which a "standard man" can sleep comfortably. This parameter should guide men when choosing a sleeping bag.
- Extreme temperature (T min) - exceeding this value causes the risk of hypothermia and means conditions in which you can survive for six hours at most (a parameter based on the feelings of the "average woman"). This temperature should not guide us when buying a sleeping bag!
